ABOUT US

Bruko was founded in 1990. For 25 years, the founder of the company had worked in the ZTS (Heavy Engineering Plants) group holding senior positions in the control measurement centre, working as a head of technical support and leading a prototyping workshop developing hydraulic components, including power steering for tractors and trucks in former Czechoslovakia.

The ZTS group was the largest manufacturer of hydraulic components in the former Eastern bloc; later it changed its name to Hydronika. The centre had been developing prototypes of steering-gear boxes for Liaz, Zetor, and Karosa.

Knowledge and experience gained by work in such specific positions in hydraulics have led the BRUKO founder to gradually build a team of experts that now forms a solid foundation of the company.

The company has progressively adjusted the machinery to customer requirements and, over time, BRUKO has expanded its focus on the following activities.

Since 1992, we have launched the following activities:

• Turbocharger repairs and sales;
• Repairs of power steering for cars and trucks;
• Repairs of servo pumps for cars.

In 1993, the scope of our activities was extended by:

• Repairs of cylinder heads for cars and trucks.

   

In 2004 was the law form changed from licence to limited company.

In 2005 have we moved from rented spaces to own new building on the same street.

In recent years, our company has been primarily focused on repairs of truck steering-gear boxes. Thanks to this we have become an authorized service centre focused on repairs and sale of steering gears of the RBL brand – the producer of steering gears for trucks of the following manufacturers:
